Halloween Festival at First Presbyterian

We went to the halloween festival held at our church on the way to Asheville. Brianne had a blast and Blake slept the entire time. They had to move everything indoors because of the weather, but it was still fun. They had lots of games like kicking the soccer ball, fishing for a prize, and bean bag toss and they even had an ice skating ring. After each game the kids got to pick a toy out of a bucket and the first prize Brianne picked a beaded necklace, her favorite. But every other time she picked a pencil. Not sure why. She also had the balloon maker make her a giraffe, which she held on to the rest of the day. I think she had the best time riding the horse. Blake didn't wake up until we were on the way to Asheville to go trick or treating with Uncle Dallas, Aunt Katherine, and cousin Dallas. It was a fun start to the day!

Picking Apples

Brianne, Blake, BeBe, and I went to an apple farm with Aunt Katherine and cousin Dallas on his school field trip. We had a good time even though the kids were a little cranky. Blake slept most of the time and Brianne picked apples and played with the sheep. I thought maybe I could get her to eat an apple since she had so much fun picking them. But so far, no luck!
