Christmas Program
Brianne participated in the Christmas program put on by the school this year. She told me the morning of the show that she did not want to get on stage and sing. She said she wanted to sit on the "couch" (meaning pew) and watch. I was afraid she was going to give her teacher trouble when showtime came, but she didn't. She sang wonderfully and I coudn't be prouder. I will be posting the video of her class's song.
Christmas Tree Farm
We visited the Christmas Tree Farm in Cashiers. They had an elf village where the kids got to dress up like elves, make ornaments, and have their faces painted. They also had Santa. Dallas was the only one who would sit in Santa's lap to tell him what he wanted for Christmas. Sterling and Brianne liked him better from afar. Blake sat in his lap, but would not look at him. As we were walking away, I asked Blake if he wanted to give Santa a kiss and he ran up to Santa and gave him a big hug. It was adorable! We also roasted marshmellows. Blake was in marshmellow heaven!
School Thanksgiving Party
The kids had a Thanksgiving feast at school. They made indian shirts and hats to wear, but Brianne refused to dress up! She also didn't eat any of the feast. She did have fun showing us the tee pee in her class and enjoyed daddy reading her a book. Happy Thanksgiving!
